Saint-Gobain Heatking Receives Innovation Award

Each year the Confederation of Indian Industry under the sponsorship of the Energy Efficiency Council hosts the Energy Efficiency Summit. The objectives of the Energy Efficiency Summit are: 

• Facilitate continuous improvement in energy efficiencies in Indian industry.
• Create a common platform for all Energy Efficiency technology suppliers and equipment manufactures to interact with industry.
• Share information on the latest trends in Energy Efficiency technologies, products & services.
• Encourage upcoming energy efficiency technologies.

This year at the 16th annual Energy Efficiency Summit in Hyderabad, India, the Confederation of Indian Industry awarded Saint-Gobain’s Heatking Refractory Solutions with the prestigious Innovation Award. Heatking Refractory Solution for Coreless Induction furnaces were designed to participate actively in efficient melting operations. By using Heatking Refractory Solutions in steel melting processes, customers are able to reduce their refractory energy consumption.
